HAUT

A taste heritage

We are in the heart of a region that values authenticity and where you can find small-scale local producers who are proud of their work and their region. They perpetuate tradition following the rules of the art and participate in their own way in maintaining our heritage of tastes.

Wines and Spirits :

Inter Caves: In a wine shop, do you like to receive advice and discover new vintages? For every day or for special occasions, discover the Inter Caves shops. Lots of new products, lots of discoveries, small producers, big vintages and passionate wine merchants always ready to advise you on food-wine pairings, that's what you'll find at an Inter Caves shop. But not only that!

You can discuss the products and choose them in friendly company before leaving with 6, 12, 18 bottles! And so that the experience is total, you can also discover a very extensive range of appetizers and delicatessen products to accompany the wines.

The domaine Michel Langlois: Catherine and Michel Langlois's vineyard is located in Pougny between Sancerre and Pouilly-sur-Loire in the Department of Nièvre. The 17 ha estate is near Cosne-sur-Loire

Very closely linked to this land and the values attached to it, Catherine and Michel took over the estate in 1996 and worked to diversify the vineyard and acquire new vineyards in the area of the Pouilly-Fumé area, the Coteaux du Giennois and Vins de Pays. Passionate and energetic, Catherine and Michel have made it a point of honour to promote the recognition of this new vineyard, which is the Coteaux du Giennois, PDO since 1998. A neighbour of the famous Sancerrois vineyard, the Coteaux du Giennois deserves its reputation for excellence.

Chocolate maker

Maison Caffet, Chocolate Maker – Pâtisserie: specialist in pralines: for 64 years, the Maison Caffet has been guided by the search for excellence in making cakes and chocolate, and has made praline, this exceptional raw material, its speciality.

Pascal Caffet, Best Worker in France, Pastry Chef and World Dessert Champion, very early discovered a passion for this unique product with the desire to ‘think outside the box' and the ambition to re-create these delicious morsels buried in his childhood memories.

Goat's cheese :

Chèvrerie de Cheugny :

Come and discover how the goats live in Varennes-Vauzelles, in Nièvre (58). At the chèvrerie de Cheugny, some 60 ‘alpine chamois' goats will welcome you. Every day, from 5.30pm, you can watch the milking. Cheugny cheeses are made with unpasteurised, whole milk. The milk used for production comes exclusively from 60 or so goats on the farm. All the cheeses are 100% goat's cheese.

Our goat's cheese is made on-site, using the unpasteurised, whole milk from our goats. The goat farm is closed in January and February. The goats are ‘dry', which means they no longer produce milk until their kids are born, which usually takes place at the end of February. So when we reopen (early March) you can see the little kids.
