Roger Salengro Park

Ideal for a stroll, with a beautiful bandstand, playground and carousel for children, you’ll love it here!

Located right in the town centre, the Roger Salengro park, formerly a dependence of the château of the Counts of Nevers, was bought by the town after the French Revolution to be a place for residents to walk and meet.

A playground, tables for a game of chess, and the little horses will delight both children and adults. In summer, children can enjoy pony rides (depending on the weather) at the top of the park.

As you stroll around, you can also admire the magnificent 19th century bandstand and the sculpture of a snail in the fountain.

A real breath of fresh air in the town centre, you can amble around the in the shade of the trees, relax or find the object of your dreams in the flea market that takes place every 2nd Sunday of the month in spring, summer and autumn, at the bottom of the park.
